One suggestion though: if you are ripping these yourself, please encode mono recordings as mono mp3s. It's a waste of bits otherwise! 128 kbps mono is like 256 kbps stereo, and probably has less filtering. Usually you can just pick the best channel (L or R) to keep, but sometimes mixing/averaging them works better, depending on the source.
