got a question concerning the Phil Upchurch track. The original 45 consists of a Pt1 and Pt2. So the question is: Is your mp3 on here Pt1 or Pt2? I THINK that both sides on the orginal are instrumentals.

As I'm not too long around on this blog (and sometimes just don't have the time being in the "world of blogs"), why are you having this blog? Is it only a blog "on the side"? Just uploading tracks you like? I'm probably asking for a concept or if there is one :-).

This blog was originally started by Ianb of retrobabe,since Ian decided to quit I took the blog over.It used to be a blog specialised in northern soul,so I decided to keep the soul but also expand into jazz,r&b,ska and other "original modernist" sounds. :) And yes it's one of my side-projects,my main blog is Schlocker. all the songs are great.... love the slow, tropical feel of HOTSH0T.i have a question to the others, though: were s0me of the songs only 17 seconds long???? cuz THE KENNY CARTER track and the one by Alvin and the Crawlers, were cut after 16-17 seconds.
a rather unfortuNate affair because the intro to these songs really got me gr00vin and swinGing... and n0w i can no longer download them.... =(
Hi miss F,glad you are enjoying,no those songs were complete,unfortunately my file host of that time sendmefile decided to go on the blink and the effect of that were very slow dl and getting only part of the song I later found out.If you want I'll post them again,when I feel a bit better (sick for the moment).
